Hailey is an archaeologist and illustrator currently based out of Saskatoon Saskatchewan. Originally from Edmonton Alberta, she has worked as a freelance artist since 2016 and, in recent years has begun incorporating her passion for drawing into her career in archaeology. She has experience with a variety of subject matter and mediums from Adobe Illustrator and Procreate to traditional approaches such as oils, gouache, and ink. She takes on many diverse projects, from artifact illustrations and reconstructions to private commissions and community engagment work. Her more artistic pieces explore the use of contrasting and bright colours to depict the different and unique landscapes she seems to find herself in, and are more often than not, created on location.
